At its upfront presentation today, NBC announced that it would be airing six new shows as part of its fall lineup. Four are comedies: “Go On,” starring Matthew Perry as a sportscaster; “The New Normal,” from “Glee” creator Ryan Murphy; “Animal Practice,” with “Weeds”‘ Justin Kirk playing a zany veterinarian; and “Guys with Kids,” produced by Jimmy Fallon. The other two are dramas from veterans of television: “Revolution,” a post-apocalyptic vision from J.J. Abrams, and “Chicago Fire,” the latest from Dick Wolf (“Law and Order: SVU”).
